The European Commission has approved for funding a new European project which is promoted and coordinated by Action Synergy and which aims to develop a common framework of competencies and
qualifications for the recognition of and validation of entrepreneurial-related and managerial skills acquired in non-formal learning.
This project is called CREDNET- Network for the Accreditation of the Managerial Skills and will be co-financed by the European Programme Lifelong Learning (Leonardo da Vinci- Networks). In this project they participate 8 partners from 7 countries (Greece, Italy, Romania, Cyprus, Latvia, Poland, Slovenia) which are SMEs, Chambers of Commerce, SME Associations, Business Incubators and an official organization for the accreditation of competencies.
This project, in order to achieve its objectives, aims to develop a certification methodology and criteria to validate informal learning especially for the credibility and recognition of the competencies established. This will help companies widen the applicability of the recognition procedures and the development of a legislative framework on it. It is envisaged managers to be more involved in innovation activities and companies become more competitive.
The project will last for 3 years and it is expected to start its activities from October. |
